In 1994-95 capitation increased sharply from 26% to 33% of practices with at least one capitated contract.
30% revenue capitation is not enough to motivate change according to some IDNs.
The market may be ready in 1999 (over 50% revenue capitation in large groups). Early adopters are moving now.
